Hi Joel,
Ha, wouldn't a free Wii be nice? I'm sure that would bring in some traffic...

As far as Barth's position on atonement more over justification I would say that I don't agree with him. I love Barth and am glad that Lord used him in the way he did, BUT his view of justification implicitly (maybe even explicitly) leads to universalism. Which, in some regard would hold true to a doctrine containing no "free-will." Barth stated once "I never taught it, but I never taught it" referring to universalism.

As you probably well know, there are a plethora of scriptures that counter his position on this matter.

What are you thoughts Joel? What have you been reading/studying on this topic?

Oh, BTW, I checked out your site. Looks like some great stuff. I'll check out your music tonight. Maybe, I can have you guest post about your music sometime.

I always love to support other brothers and sisters in the christian music community.

Let me know your thoughts!

For a moment, I thought the title of this post read "Free Wii" and I got excited... Ha. A free Wii would be great. As far as Free Will goes, I've studied this for years and changed my mind twice. I won't say which side I'm currently on because I might change my mind again soon. As a side not, though, I'd like to hear your thoughts on Barth's alternative view. I just came across that recently.
